WE DYE CARPETS!!
normally no more than 5 or 6 spots per room. More
extensive areas of color loss, whether caused by bleach stains, sun
fading or otherissues are normally resolved by dyeing the full
room.
Both the process and colorfast dyes are
comparable to those used by carpet mills...
Neither process can guarantee the color loss will become
invisible, however the results are quite remarkable and less costly
than carpet replacement. Both the process and colorfast dyes are
comparable to those used by carpet mills in their dyeing process
called Continuous Dyeing, so you can expect the same kind of
performance as you would for the rest of your carpeting. In
addition, we can also perform specialty dyeing jobs, like adding
borders or restoring color loss to oriental rugs.
If you or a friend you know has a color loss issue and
would like more information, call us for a consultation. We’ll be
happy to add
a little color in your life!
Do you have a color loss problem? We can help! If you have
bleach stains, sun fading, or would just like to improve the
appearance of your existing carpeting with a color change, we can
offer you an exciting new alternative.
Summit Carpet Care serving North Tahoe along with our
sister company A Better Carpet Cleaner serving the valley areas is
now certified by the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and
Restoration Certification) in Color Repair. Stephen Jaenchen earned
his CRT (Color Repair Technician) certification in July 2006, and
our new employee Michael Kelly, an IICRC Master Textile Cleaner, is
also CRT certified with years of experience in carpet spot dyeing
and full room dyeing.

CLEANING
NEWS
MEET OUR NEW
EMPLOYEE!
On June 30, 2006, we
hired on Michael Kelly (he prefers just "Kelly") to assist us with
our business growth. We are proud to introduce him to you
now.
It has always been part
of our business plan to keep our company small and personal,
emphasizing caring craftsmanship over volume. Apparently, many
people still prefer this to the "Wal-mart" model, and it has become
increasingly difficult for us to keep up with the demand for our
services. So when the opportunity to get someone onboard of the
caliber of Kelly, we jumped at it.
Kelly is from Milwaukee,
WI and has been a leader in the carpet cleaning industry since
1968 (38 years) and has personally trained over 100 professionals in
the industry. He is an IICRC certified Master Textile Cleaner and
has extensive skill and knowledge in carpet cleaning, upholstery
cleaning, drapery and oriental rug cleaning as well as carpet
dyeing and restorative cleaning procedures.
Michael Kelly
(Kelly)
IICRC Master
Textile Cleaner
I first met Kelly in
Milwaukee in 1984 when I began cleaning carpets professionally. We
have remained in touch regularly since then and Kelly has made
himself available to me as a consultant over the
years.
The addition of Kelly
means we have another friendly, caring and highly skilled person
with which to serve our clients. It also means we are probably the
only company in Nevada / Northern California with two IICRC
Certified Master Textile Cleaners working in the field to serve
your needs.

MASTER TEXTILE CLEANER
CERTIFICATION
In
July, 2006 Stephen successfully completed his final course to
achieve one of the IICRC’s most prestigious certifications: "Master
Textile Cleaner." According to the IICRC’s website, there are only
a handful of individuals in Northern Nevada and the Tahoe area who
have this certification, and, with the addition of Kelly, no other
companies serving our area with two Master
Textile Cleaners. In fact, because most Master Textile Cleaners are
business owners or managers, we may be one of only a handful of
cleaning establishments throughout the U.S. with two Master
Textile
Cleaners actually cleaning in the
field.
The
designation "Master Textile Cleaner" is awarded only after an
individual has successfully completed courses in 1) Carpet Cleaning
Technician, 2) Upholstery Cleaning Technician, 3) Carpet Repair and
Re-installation, 4) Odor Control, and 5) Color Repair Technician,
and has a minimum of 5 years of experience from the time of their
first certification. These courses teach the finer points of our
craft and enable us to get the best possible short and long term
cleaning results.
